The dogs were playing, dancing, and even rolling on the floor together.
This is truly a ‘small world’ story. So Pam, as she was walking past two dogs, was amazed at how the two dogs were reacting to each other. That was when Pam started a conversation with the different owners and found out that the two had never met before. In the video, you can catch the amazement of everyone around at how the two similar dogs we behaving. Truly a sight to see. Well, as Pam started asking more and more questions to the two couples, the amazing truth started coming out.
It appears that the two dogs were both adopted from Russia and flown to America on the same plane and at the same time over a year ago. That might help explain why these two dogs, who should be complete strangers, were acting like life long friends. Well later on with further investigation the case was cracked.
There were tattoos on each of the dog’s ears for identification purposes.
And the tattoos reveal that the two dogs were siblings. Isn’t that amazing? When I heard this story I was just taken back at how smart dogs can be and how we, as humans, sometimes don’t give them credit. Anyways, the two couples have exchanged phone numbers and regularly get together so the sisters can play and have fun together.

O.M.G.!!!!I witnessed the coolest thing today! I was at my booth at Pike Place Market and two couples (who didn't know each other) were walking towards each other with identical dogs. Suddenly, the dogs ran towards each other and went totally crazy. I went over to watch because it was so adorable, and as I stood there soaking up the love, the couples figured out that the dogs are siblings and came over on the same plane to be adopted from Russia a year ago! The dogs recognized each other! They even had identifying tattoos that confirmed it. This joyful reunion went on for over a half an hour, in fact they were still at it when I left the market.(I heard the couples exchanging phone numbers, so now they can have play dates, which made me very happy)(p.s. The response to this video has been incredible! Thank you to everyone who has reached out, including reporters, tv stations, blogs, rescues, websites, etc. I was approached by a couple of licensing companies and just signed the licensing rights to the video over to one of them. (I tell ya, this has been crazy!) So for licensing inquiries please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org. I love how this story has touched so many people!)
